Principal's Note

Every society-settled or nomadic has a spatial relationship to the natural world. This spatial relationship called architecture is the product of the culture it was designed for. Architecture serves both utilitarian & aesthetic ends of the culture & it cannot be distinguished nor separated. Architecture education is multidisciplinary - art, technology, science, humanities all play a role in developing good architects. Apart from imparting design skills & technological know how, the course focus on social issues too to impart the right values.

The team at D C School of Architecture & Design, Trivandrum, continuously strives to improve the academic content & develop new teaching methodologies to engage the students. Co-curricular activities like workshops, seminars, heritage walks, sketch tours & social projects are geared towards shaping future architects to be responsible citizens
