DCSAAD proudly hosted the highly esteemed 60th Annual Convention of the National Association of Students of Architecture, India (The Annual NASA Convention) in Wagamon, the birthplace of the renowned Architect Laurie Baker, from January 29th to February 2nd, 2018.

As a completely student-led endeavor, the Annual NASA Convention stands as the largest congregation of architecture students in South Asia. This eagerly anticipated event holds a prominent position within both the student community and the architecture profession as a whole.

With over 3000 attendees from all corners of India, the convention upholds a strong academic reputation. DCSAAD successfully brought NASA back to Kerala after a remarkable hiatus of 33 years. The convention presented an array of 30 academic workshops, over 100 captivating talks, and diverse competitions. In addition to the student participants, the event drew the presence of approximately 100 faculty members, 60 Architect Jurors, and over 200 architects from across India and abroad to the scenic Wagamon Campus.

Under the theme of 'Reflection,' the convention embarked on a captivating journey that explored the transformation, re-evolution, and parallel projections of architects. This theme aimed to rejuvenate the architectural realm and fortify the essence of the association.
