DCSAAD hosted the prestigious 60th Annual Convention of the National Association of Students of Architecture, India (The Annual NASA Convention) at Wagamon, home of the great Architect Laurie Baker, from 29th January to 2nd February 2018.
An entirely student-led initiative, the Annual NASA Convention is the largest student gathering of the students of architecture in South Asia. It is the most awaited and the largest of its kind in both Student and Architecture fraternity.
Attended by more than 3000 students from all over India, the convention boasts of its strong academic prestige. DCSAAD brought back NASA to Kerala after a long gap of 33 years, with a showcase of 30 academic workshops, 100 plus talks and various related competitions. Apart from the students, the convention also attracted around 100 faculty members, 60 Architect Jurors and more than 200 architects from all over India and abroad, to the Wagamon Campus.
The theme of the event was ‘Reflection,’ a journey of architect’s transformation, re-evolution and parallel projections where it revamps the face of an architectural arena and strengthens the core of the association.
